Douglas got his first taste of stone fabrication 25 years ago as an apprentice in the Bay State. After two decades of shaping kitchens for other shops, he opened High Definition Stone to give New England homeowners something the big-box installers never could: a fabricator who picks up the phone, shows up on time, and treats every slab like it's going into his own kitchen.
Today, HDS serves the entire New England region (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont) with in-home estimates, in-house fabrication, and a single team from first call to final install.
We work directly with the best slab suppliers in the Northeast, so the granite, quartz, or marble we install came from a yard we walked, not a catalog page. When you pick your slab, you're picking the actual stone going into your home.

High Definition Stone is formally founded. First full-team kitchen install for a Brazilian family in Marlborough.
